Just a quick note to say that the experimental design for Phase 2 of DeepMIP-Eocene is now online for review and comment:

Huge thanks to everyone who contributed, especially Nicky Wright and Bram Vaes (paleogeography), and Julia Brugger, Ulrich Salzmann, and David Hutchinson (vegetation).

I’ll contact the list again when (if?!) the paper is published (as at that point, the boundary conditions and experimental design will be finalised, and groups can start running simulations).  Groups are, of course, also very welcome to start their simulations now (the boundary conditions are hosted on Zenodo – https://zenodo.org/records/17899195), but under the proviso that the boundary conditions could change following review.
